Paysafe appoints Najuma Atkinson as chief people officer

Paysafe announced the appointment of Najuma Atkinson as its new Chief People Officer, bringing two decades of experience in expanding human-resource functions for large, multinational corporations. Her résumé includes senior positions at Dell Technologies and Hasbro, where she directed HR strategy for organizations with detailed international operations and widely distributed workforces.
Atkinson’s arrival comes after a period of solid financial growth for the firm. In the first quarter of 2026, the company reported revenue of $442.7 million. That amount reflected a ten-percent increase compared with the same quarter a year earlier. Adjusted earnings per share rose by twenty-one percent over the prior year’s figure.
Strong performance in Latin America and the rapid expansion of its digital-wallet services have been identified as key drivers of the upward trend in the share price throughout the current year. The business attributes the momentum to both organic customer acquisition and the scaling of its technology platform across new regions.
Although Atkinson does not come from a traditional payments-industry background, her career includes managing human-resource functions for companies undergoing fast-paced growth. While at Dell, she oversaw global HR services as the firm evolved into a leading technology provider. At Hasbro, she guided HR for a portfolio of global brands and complex supply-chain networks, experience that aligns closely with the firm’s multinational footprint.
The appointment signals a shift toward treating human capital as a core growth lever. The organization has deliberately avoided reactive hiring during its financial turnaround, choosing instead to strengthen leadership as operational momentum builds.
In addition to reinforcing senior management, the new chief will concentrate on developing talent pipelines to support expansion across dozens of markets. Her focus is expected to include enhancing learning programs, refining performance frameworks, and improving employee engagement in regions where the company is scaling rapidly.
In a formal statement, Atkinson described Paysafe’s talent pool and customer-centric approach as “incredibly impressive.” She expressed enthusiasm about shaping the firm’s culture and building capabilities that match its ambitious growth plans.
The move follows a year-long effort by the firm to demonstrate financial stability, a discipline now being extended to internal operations. By linking HR strategy directly to the company’s broader business objectives, the leadership hopes to sustain the positive trajectory established in the early part of 2026.
